[Hong Kong, November 23, 2024] – The Asian Gemological Institute and Laboratory (AGIL) and the Asia Pacific Gemmologist Society (APGS) recently co-hosted a successful Fei Cui Jewellery Appreciation Seminar at the Jockey Club Campus of Hong Kong Metropolitan University. The seminar brought industry professionals, students, and enthusiasts together to explore the fascinating world of Fei Cui jewellery.

Dr. Dominic Mok, Principal of AGIL and Founding President of APGS, was honored to invite Mr. Samuel Kung, an internationally renowned Fei Cui entrepreneur as keynote speaker to participate in the seminar , shared his insights on current industry competition and the enduring value of Fei Cui together with Dr. Dominic Mok, and Mr. George Mak, Honorary President of APGS and a prominent Hong Kong jewellery designer and manufacturing entrepreneur. Mr. Liang Weizhang, Vice President of APGS, served as the Seminar Convenor. It provided attendees with valuable perspectives on the market and design trends within the Fei Cui jewellery sector.

Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the high-tech laboratory of Hong Kong Metropolitan University and witness firsthand the advanced instrumentation used in gemmology and jewellery studies research. Furthermore, the seminar introduced of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Gemmology and Jewellery Studies program, detailing curriculum structure, admission requirements, study methods, and career prospects by Dr.Dominic Mok and Dr. Fanny Tang.
