program offered in Hong Kong. Within 6 months of receiving my FGA diploma I was hired by Sotheby’s HK. I started out as their Chief Jewellery Cataloguer and graduated to Deputy Director of the jewellery department. It was a fantastic opportunity and privilege to work for a renowned auction house. I then worked for Van Cleef & Arpels and soon afterwards, branched out on my own as an independent jewellery advisor. I was able to put to use everything I learned at AGIL. Although the programme was intensive, the tutors were engaging, encouraging and always available for advice and guidance. I am proud to say that I have been in the gem and jewellery industry for over 20 years and I owe much of this to AGIL . If it were not for them, I would not be where I am today. I encourage anyone looking to enter the world of gemmology to look no further than AGIL.
